We had the absolute joy of capturing Eva and Oscar’s engagement session ahead of their summer wedding in Cheshire—and their Labrador, Luca, came along to make it even more special!
Engagement shoots are such a wonderful idea before the wedding day. They give everyone a chance to spend relaxed, quality time together, letting you all feel comfortable and connected before the big day arrives. For Eva, Oscar, and Luca, we wandered through the woods as the sun began to dip, chasing the golden light and the warmth of the evening.
We also love adding the video option to engagement shoots. It’s such a fun way to capture movement, laughter, and all those little moments that photos alone can’t fully show. Seeing Eva, Oscar, and Luca exploring the woods, sharing quiet smiles, and chasing the last rays of sunlight felt like a story unfolding in real time.
Luca was in his element, bounding ahead, sniffing, and occasionally nudging his humans into playful moments. The laughter, gentle touches, and small candid interactions between Eva and Oscar were exactly the kind of moments that make a shoot feel alive and full of personality.

The soft glow of the sunset filtering through the trees added a magical touch to every frame. By the end of the walk, we had a beautiful collection of memories—both in photos and on video—that perfectly capture the love and joy this little family shares.
