When a love blossoms among the very flowers that will later adorn the aisle, you know you’re in for something truly special. And Vicky and Jorge’s wedding at Growing@Field28, an urban farm nestled in the heart of Cheshire, was just that: a celebration of love, family, and nature, all wrapped up in a beautiful, rustic package. Set on the farm owned by Jorge’s parents, the entire day felt as down-to-earth as it was deeply meaningful.
While Vicky shared a sweet first-look moment with her dad Stewart, Jorge and his groomsmen were having a mini fashion crisis of their own at the farmhouse. They had four different ties to choose from, each one carefully selected, but it was Jorge’s floral tie that made the final cut—perfect for the farm vibe and the fresh, natural energy of the day.
The ceremony took place in the middle of a sprawling field, surrounded by rows of fruits and vegetables lovingly grown on-site by Jorge’s family. As Vicky walked down the aisle to a soulful rendition of *Hooked on a Feeling* by Craig Elliot on piano, it felt like the perfect soundtrack for a wedding that was as fun as it was heartfelt.
The ceremony itself was led by Ed, the best man, who switched effortlessly from celebrant to speaker, offering both warmth and wit. But it wasn’t all smooth sailing. A gust of wind swept Ed’s notes from his hand, sending them flying into a cabbage patch, forcing him to improvise while Sophie, our partner, retrieved them. Meanwhile, Paddy, the couple’s adorable dog, did his best to stay on task as he brought the rings down the aisle in what would become a heartwarming highlight of the day.
The wedding breakfast was an ode to local, seasonal goodness, with nearly every ingredient harvested from the farm. Edible flowers, fresh produce, and homegrown vegetables took
centre stage in the dishes, all served with a generous side of love. Speeches were strategically placed between courses, with Stewart kicking things off after starters, Jorge sharing his heartfelt words after the mains, and Ed and Henry delivering their comic duo performance after dessert.
When the evening arrived, the dancefloor was absolutely electric. Craig Elliot, the wedding pianist, returned with his full band in tow—guitars, saxophone, drums, and keys—keeping
the energy high all night long. The first dance was magical, with confetti cannons going off in perfect timing, adding that extra bit of sparkle to an already perfect moment.
Jorge, ever the performer, fully took over the dancefloor the moment the first Motown beat dropped. His moves were legendary, owning the space and creating a visual spectacle we’ll
never forget.
"The editing of the photos and video are incredible and are way beyond our expectations. We could not be more grateful to have had The Taylor's at our big day."
Vicky and Jorge’s wedding was truly one for the books. From the rustic charm of Growing@Field28 to the personal touches that made everything feel so special, their day was a celebration of love in its truest form. The farm-to-table feast, the thoughtful speeches, the hilarious moments, and the epic dancefloor session all added to the magic of the day.
Thank you, Vicky and Jorge, for letting us capture such an unforgettable day. It was a true joy to be part of your wedding, and we know that this is only the beginning of your journey together.
