Bec and Rich’s wedding at Primrose Hill Farm was a masterclass in how to throw a celebration that’s equal parts romantic and ridiculously fun. They found us after watching a wedding film we’d made at Primrose Hill Farm the year before, which meant the pressure was on—but with a setting like this and a couple as brilliant as these two, We were on to a winner!
The day kicked off with a lovely mix of excitement and calm. Bec and her bridal party set up camp in the Orchard Barn, where there was a steady flow of laughs, last-minute touch-ups, and champagne. Over at the Castle at Edgehill, Rich and his groomsmen were just as relaxed, getting ready and cracking jokes while keeping an eye on the clock to make sure everything ran smoothly.
By the time everyone arrived at Primrose Hill Farm, the excitement was building. Roxy Searle, their amazing wedding musician, set the perfect tone for the ceremony and drinks reception with her stunning voice. We loved how the soft sounds of Roxy’s music created such a lovely, chilled-out vibe as the guests mingled, sipping champagne, and soaking in the gorgeous surroundings. It added such a beautiful atmosphere, and naturally, it made for some amazing footage.
The ceremony itself was heartfelt and simple—everything you’d want for a moment like that. Bec, walking arm-in-arm with her dad Tony, made an unforgettable entrance. You could see Rich trying to hold it together, but his face said it all when he saw her.
After the speeches, we snuck out for a quick photoshoot in the adjoining field, following photographer Jodie Swain of @blonde.shot (she was an absolute joy to be around). We captured some gorgeous footage of the couple silhouetted against the setting sun, which made for some truly breathtaking moments before heading back in to begin the evening festivities.
"You were a joy to have on our day, made us feel at ease, and have given us the perfect way to remember our amazing day."
The confetti toss after the ceremony was pure gold. There’s something so magical about a newlywed couple laughing their way through a cascade of petals, and it made for some of our favourite shots of the day.
And then, there was the entrance to the wedding breakfast. Oh. My. Word. Bec and Rich didn’t just stroll in—they owned that moment. Dancing their way to the top table to the sound of September Song by JP Cooper, with their guests on their feet, whooping, cheering, and waving napkins in the air, it was the kind of entrance you wish every couple would make.
The speeches were another highlight. Rich’s was equal parts heartfelt and hilarious, while Bec’s dad Tony brought the classic dad moments we all love. The best men, Alex and Lee, delivered a tag-team roast that had everyone in stitches. And then there was the Maid of Honour, Danielle, who clearly didn’t realise just how much she’d had to drink. She launched into what can only be described as an epic, rambling speech—hilarious and unintelligible at times. We honestly considered adding subtitles to the final edit, but we figured that might just be rubbing salt in the wound 😂.

"Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We will be recommending you to anyone we know getting married!"
When it came to the first dance, Bec and Rich chose a stunning acoustic piano rendition of Higher Love. It was such a beautiful moment—intimate and romantic, with just the two of them completely wrapped up in the music. But as soon as the formalities were over, the dance floor transformed into a full-on party. Between DJ Andy Saunders spinning the tracks and James Burwell’s epic saxophone solos, the energy was absolutely electric.
And, of course, we couldn’t leave without capturing a quick sparkler shot. Bec and Rich were total naturals in front of the camera, even with their friends making them laugh in the background. It was the perfect way to wrap up a day that was every bit as vibrant and unforgettable as the two of them.
